Annual Recertification: As a reminder, annual recertifications are due by February 8 for the Moderate Rental and Elderly/Disabled programs and by February 15 for the Congregate program. Please contact your housing coordinator with any questions.
Unreported Income: As a reminder, residents are obligated to notify the EHA office if there is a change in adjusted gross income of at least 10%, a change in household composition or an increase in deductions. If you have questions regarding what should be reported, please contact your housing coordinator. Failure to report such changes may result in owing an arrearage for rent.
Bulk Pick-Ups: Scheduled bulk pick-ups must be reported to the office. Items should not be placed at the curb prior to five days before the scheduled pick-up. Items left at the curb, that haven't been scheduled for pick up, will be disposed of by maintenance staff and the resident will be charged. Click here for more information regarding bulk pick-ups.
After Hours Maintenance Issues: Please call 860-749-2017 OR 860-982-2141 for after hours maintenance issues. Examples of after hours issues include: inoperable toilets, major plumbing leaks, no heat/water/electricity, smoke detector issues and lock outs. For routine maintenance issues, such as ripped screens, drafts, light bulb changes, please call during business hours to submit a work order. For emergencies always call 911.
